Will my photos be uploaded?
No. Compression, storage, checksums and report generation happen in your browser. The server receives no photos, filenames, vehicle or booking data.
Is the report court-proof?
RentScan Shield documents files and timestamps but does not certify them. Whether a report is recognized is decided by the respective counterparty or responsible authority.
What happens if I change devices?
Export the local JSON backup. It contains the images and a checksum and can be re-imported on another device.
Why CHF 39?
The planned one-time price is well below typical disputed damage claims. Nothing is charged in the beta test.
